About Pixel4Polio
One pixel. One shot. One step closer to a polio-free world.
Pixel4Polio is a digital fundraising campaign where every pixel on a shared online canvas represents a real polio vaccination. Donors from around the world choose a colour, select a block size, place their pixel on the 1920×1080 canvas, and pay — with 100% of the proceeds going to Rotary International’s End Polio Now programme.
The Campaign
The canvas is 1920×1080 pixels — the size of a Full HD screen. Every pixel costs €1. Every euro funds a polio vaccine dose. The campaign runs until 24 October 2026 (World Polio Day) or until every pixel on the canvas has been donated — whichever comes first.
Why Polio?
Polio is a highly infectious disease caused by a virus that mainly affects children under five years old. It can cause permanent paralysis and even death. There is no cure — only prevention through vaccination.
Thanks to 35+ years of work by Rotary International and its partners, polio cases have been reduced by more than 99.9% since 1988. Today only two countries remain where wild poliovirus is still endemic. We are closer than ever to complete eradication — but every unvaccinated child is a risk. Finishing the job requires sustained effort and funding.

Who We Are
Pixel4Polio is operated by BESTgroup Consulting GmbH (Amtsgericht Berlin-Charlottenburg, HRB 102585 B) on behalf of Rotary Gemeindienst Deutschland e.V.. We collect donations through this platform and forward them regularly to Rotary International’s End Polio Now campaign.

Since then, Rotary members have contributed more than $2.1 billion and countless volunteer hours to the fight against polio.
